Panos pastry has made pastries for more than 50 years. Its tasty pastries and chocolates are enjoyed by sweet lovers all around the world. Panos Pastry started in 1953 by Panos and Alberta Zetlian, with their first bakery, "Pateserie Panos" (Panos Pastry) in Beirut, Lebanon. Panos made the pastries and Alberta sold them with the help of one employee. Their small shop on Arax Street grew in 14 years to become a two-story bakery and restaurant with 30 employees.
In 1981, the Zetlians, their daughter Jovina and partner son-in-law, Norik Shahbazian, moved to California and opened Panos Pastry on Hollywood Boulevard, in Hollywood, California. In a period of 10 years, Panos Pastry expanded to occupy a second store, opened a retail outlet in the city of Glendale, bought their own property for their bakery and employed 42 people. Panos Pastry's customer base includes many former customers from Lebanon in addition to customers from the United States and the world.
